Video Quality

When i play movies through windows media player between each frame theres a fog like affect that appears on the screen. It refreshes at the end of each frame but starts back up as soon as the next frame starts. Thought when i play the same movies in virtual dub its crystal clear. Is this a hardware issue or what something else.

My PC:
Pentium 4 2.8
512 mb
80gb
geforce 3 32 mb

did you try any other play like for example zoomplayer, bsplayer or media player classic?

no but on my brothers laptop the video plays perfect in windows media player

the only other thing i tried i my pc was virtual dub and it played good on that

use ffdshow as playbackfilter
