codecs prbl

hi,

i've installed divx 5.1.1 codec, xvid codec, AceMegaCodecPackXp and ffdshow & I'm trying to play movies with MicroDVDPlayer.

the movie don't start and i receive an error "mdvdpl: MDVDP caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at 0000:b00b5dd0"

what shall I do? Help me pls...

Does the video play properly using Windows Media Player?

I'm not personally familiar with "MicroDVDPlayer". Is it supposed to be able to play videos other than DVDs? If so, uninstall and reinstall it...

i receive the same error from WinMediaPlayer. i uninstalled all codecs and reinstalled only divx5.1.1 and ffdshow. Now, I see movies but without sound! I installed AC3Filter, but still without results.

any ideea what to do? many thanks.

Install an .MP3 audio codec...

Check the file using GSpot ... it should show you which codec is missing.
