Im currently Using A.P. 6.5 and It been great working with it! Unfortunately Ive been experiencing problems exporting my video.
After Editing and peicing together, I wish to export my clips as movie (AVI)
Because of the nature of my video (some programs that I taped years ago off of UHF station)- the result of my video Is fuzzy, so upon exporting my video, I went into the options and in the last section(SPECIAL PROCESSING) under
(general,keyframe and rendering,audio,video, **Special Processing***) , I chose the option of Premeire to utilize a Gaussian Blur (to clear up the fuzziness of UHF)

When I export, about 1/2way through the process, I ALWAYS get an error message saying

"ASSERT FAILURE"
Failure: work !=0
File: c:\work\rockford\Main\a\Win\doconv.c
Line 1661

I also forgot to mention that Im currently using the Main Concept codec "hack". THis MC hack will allow me to export using their CODEC and not Premeire's.

I realize that with the modification to AP 6.5 (qcap.dll file eliminated from the winnt/system32 directory) that I cant do many features besides exporting untill the DLL file is put back.

Any help would really be appreciated.

PS. I also noticed that when I installed AP 6.5, 98% thru the install I got an error message saying:

"UNABLE TO LAUNCH"
c:\Programs\adobe\premiere1.5\tcw\tcwi.exe
"The returned error was -1"

after selecting ok. It continues with the download and seems to install properly. Does this have anythign to do with my error?
