hello everyone..

i have a xvid file with a ac3 audio... i tried to convert it to mpeg1 but TmpGenc freeze and stop responding.....

at environmental settings ->VFAPI plugins i set up the directshows to higher priority...... i have the xvid codec as well as ffdshow.... the file is complete and not truncated according to Gspot.... as well as i can play it without a problem.. it plays smoothly with a clear audio and clear picture....

now the question is what is the problem why the TMPGenc freeze and stop responding... i tried to encode other file same as Dvix avi files and it encode no problem but why in Xvid it freeze...

Any ideas? i have a TMPGenc Plus 2.25 with a P4 2.4 Mhz. Processors, 256 DDR Ram Memory, 128 DDR Mx440 AGP 8x Card Display and a Windows Xp Pro OS flatform...

Has anybody experience TMPGenc Freeze and stop responding..

Any ideas?

thanks,

Another example of more isn't always better, especially when it comes to codecs/codec packs.
