Hi...

Is it possible to hard encode subtitles into AVI's?

I have read through all sorts about hard encoding subs, but the process is -> (AVI + subs) into VCD or SVCD.

I am happy with AVI encoding and the time factor.

All I'd like to do is add subtitles.

I can get the subs into whatever format is necessary. But I want to end up with an AVI and not anything else... which includes using another program to cheat! by running the subs at the same time.

Please help! Anyone got any clues...

Ahh Ok, thanks for speedy response...

I usually use virtualdubmod... which I believe does all that virtualdub does?? with a few extras?

Is vobsub a plugin for virtualdubmod / virtualdub? Or standalone...

I'm sure I can work through it, but if you're up for a brief walkthrough, it would be much appreciated...

Thanks again
