inserting subtitles

Hi,

i have "the fast and the furious" in vcd and I want to insert subtitles, but i have them just for divx version. Is it possible? how?

There's only one (without the DVD) format who can use Subs - it's SVCD.
It could be contain 2 audiostreams and a maximum of 4 subs.

You need to convert your DivX into an SVCD (MPEG 2). Demultiplex the video and audio and then... (make sure, you have your subtitles)
use I-author (this is the only one, who can multiplex 1 video-, 2 audiostream(s) and 4 subtitles.

Please, remember, that you standalone player could use subs on a SVCD.
