DivX Color Playback Issue

Hi, I've been trying to play various DivXes using several differen players, and while before they used to work, ever since a few days ago they have started in proper color for a few seconds but then turned to black and white. I've tried many different players and each one gives me the same problem. I have FFDshow installed. Any help appreciated, thanks.

This is the exact same problem that i am having right now, maybe about 5-7 days ago my files all went to black and white, but i know they can still be played in color because when i start the movie, the first few seconds are in color but then turn to black and white. Also, if i pause the movie, minimize it and then maximize again the paused image is in color, and when i hit play it goes back to black and white.. this is a very big problem can anyone please help?

PS: ive tried this in many all my players, divx windows media player, program theatres, etc.
