no video playback with ANY player

a few days ago, i started noticing that i dont get any playback of video in any player except windows media player. So i reinstalled all codec that i use. Divx,xvid,ac3,tsunami filter pack. Even power dvd doesnt work when I try to play anything through it. Any help would be appreciated.

If your O/S is WinXP, simply perform a System Restore to the last date that things worked properly for you...
