can't play some avis

I can't play some avis.
I've got many codecs, but i still can't play 3 or 4 movies.

when i do file-properties-summary, in video compression, there is
DIVXMPG4 V3

I've downloaded the version 4 of divx, and i still can't play the files.
can anybody help me?

install a codec/filter pack like TSUNAMI Filter Pack 3F

i've already downloaded, but i've downloaded and installed again the tsunami pack, and I still get the same error opening the .avi file:

ClassFactory cannot supply request class

I'm trying to open it with windows media player 7. I'm working on windows 2000

I've tried also with BSplayer and I get file format not supported.

What do I need to install more?

sounds like your divx4 filter are not registered correctly.

try re-installing latest versions
