Hey all,

Re: NUTech DDW-082

Just wondering if I can go backwards to the last firmware, or will that damage anything. My Burner is experiencing some big time slowness. It just started out of the blue a couple weeks ago when the last time I used it to brun a DVD, it took almost two hours to burn 3.5GB DVD.

Just today I started up DVD Decryptor and the read rate was less than 100 KB/s. I have two DVD's to decrypt and the other is in the laptop downloading at 2,000KB/s.

Is it possible or do I have to turn this in for repair?

Thanks,

Gerry

Well I tried that, and it looked as though it worked, at least while using dvd decrypter, but when I burned it still took long time, here is image of burn at 35%, notice the total time:

So now what?

Thanks,

Well here it is 20 days later and I decided to go back anyways, but before I did, I bought the NEC 2510A DL.

Anyways I did the backwards flash and it is now working normal.
