Playback in mediaplay 9 - 10b

Hi!

Which version of XviD required to play an avi movie with 5.1 sound embeded in it for Mediaplayer...

I have installed 3.1.1 it works fine in mediaplayer with the movie which don't have 5.1 sound. but it refuses to play the file with 5.1 sound.

Help wanted.

In wich format is this 5.1 sound ???

Assume its AC3...

To play AC3 audio you need a AC3 decoder !!!


Btw, MediaPlayer9 is crap...

Use MediaPlayerClassic, ZoomPlayer or MPlayer2 instead !!!

the 5.1 sound is embeded in the avi file... when i play the file in VLC it work great...

but i want to play it on media player 9... because the seek module in vlc in not good... it takes lots of time to skip a scene or two... but media player don't do that...


Media player 9 is so much better in sound and video quality also in playlists....
