Strange problem just emerged between two rips using same method. I am backing up two different DVDs using Smart Ripper - DVD2AVI - VFAPI - VirtualDub (with DivX 5 codec, 2 pass). The first back up worked perfectly. On the second one, after setting everything up exactly the same way, when I start encoding Virtual Dub gives me an error message, "invalid log file" on the first pass, then proceeds to the second pass and gives the same error. I have never encountered this before. Much obliged for any advice anyone can offer on this issue.
