Just curious about those of you with experience copying a already copied dvd. does it work well? is it worth trying?
i tried it twice with the same disk and didn't have very much luck. im new to this so that could be the reason. but ive made some good burns of non-copied disks.
thanks,

"i tried it twice with the same disk and didn't have very much luck."
Explain what procedure that you used to make the copy.

oh well, i just used the same procedure that i use to copy any disk.
dvdshrink to decrypt. no compression involved because it was on a 4.7gb disk.
then burn using nero 6.
am i missing anything? like i mentioned im new to this, so I may have to be more specific.
thanks again

Instead of trying to "Copy" the "Copied" disk, why not just backup the "ORIGINAL" commercial DVD again with DVD Shrink. Also, if you still have the DVD-related files residing on your HD, simply use Nero to burn another copy.

because i borrowed the disk from a friend. i dont have the original.
no one else ever tried to copy a copy? someone has to have had some sucess with it.

"because i borrowed the disk from a friend. i dont have the original."
Then you are in violation of the rules of the forum(s) because you have admitted that you do not "OWN" the original DVD.

Copy all the files directly to the hard drive, then burn with Nero. Worx for me EVERY time.
Have a Super Day...
