XVID Trouble

hi, I am sorry because I am almost reposting my problem, but I am a newbie and dont know what is the correct forum for my problem. I will keep it short here..

Plz tell me whats all this about XVID freezing, cause my XVID video freezes for a second , and then resumes , but the sound is gone. I dont know what to do..PLZ help me

You can try using Divfix (free). This has worked for me on some avi videos.

What specific "Player" are you using to play the file?

I am trying all the players (WMP, WAMP, Nero movie player, PowerDVD etc.) but results are same. By the way thanks for your responses

use a program called virtual dub to rip the sound from the xvid then use tmpenc to put them back together you will be able to burn them to disc
