I just wanted to know I have been shrinkign with DVD Shrink and I have tested DVDs at 55%-65% with menus and they look perfect and DVDs at 100% look just as perfect...I only want to keep Menus if the picture wont change at all....is there something I am not seeing? When does the decrease in picture quality and DVD quality happen? So I know to keep the extra stuff or to remove it?

I thought I covered this in the reply to the pm you sent me.

Every DVD you backup is going to be different. Even though you may not notice any difference in video quality after shrinking a DVD, It is there! DVD Shrink does not in any way , shape, or form touch the audio or modify the audio in any form! The only thing it does, is allow you to pick what audio stream you want one the DVD. (ie. English 5.1, DTS, French, etc.) Now if it is a DVD-5 disc, which most older movies are, you will be able to make a identical 1:1 copy just like the original. The kind of TV you watch it on also GREATLY affects the ability to see the compression used on the video. (ie: BIG SCREEN TV, Plasma TV, High Definition, LCD, etc.)

Like I said, every DVD is going to be different. On one back up you might notice a difference in the quality at %50 compression, and on another DVD you might notice a difference at %30 compression.
