I guess your typos might be due to your distracting avatar! LOL
Are you saying your media is still blank? I had that when I started out. Check out www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters for brand compatibility for your writer.
Also check that your DMA is enabled on your IDE channels. It has the annoying habit of dropping to PIO sometimes :-(

jesterkfc: About your avatar, could you change it to something less provacative, as children visit this forum as well.
Have you tried re-installing Nero?

In Nero, does your burner say DVD in the 'Choose Recorder' dialogue?
What is psl?

He's refering to the Protective Sectors List used by DVD Decrypter.
If you use version 3.5.2.o if DVD Decrypter you won't need to load a PSL File anymore.

it almost makes sense if you put a comma between the dycriptor and nero ... but then he's uninstalled nero? ;-)

If you're burning ok with Decrypter then it seems hardware is all ok and media.
What version Nero is it and have you installed anything else recently?

Try using a utility that nero has put out to clean out old drivers that might be conflicting and registry entries that are no longer valid with nerwer versions of Nero.
Grab it here.
