how do i burn this format to disk so my dvd player will play them?

the media info is telling me that the codec is a mpga in the audio stream and mpgv in the video stream how would i get this to burn in a (s)vcd format so my stand alone dvd player will read it, will TMPGEnc work for this problem
what type of problem do i have?
any help or direction work be great
