please help me...i can record anything ...but it all become
Mpeg2 splitter.....and the mpeg wont work till i open the
digital vcr program...why is that???

do i need a program to solve this problem??....and the mpeg2
size to huge....4 mb for 30 sec in 170X120

You may want to experiment with other video capture software.

You need to install and register with Windows the required MPEG2 filters (ivivideo.ax and iviaudio.ax). You may already have them in your DigitalVCR directory, in which case you just have to register them with Windows by creating a .BAT file, placing it in the DigitalVCR directory, and then simply doubleclicking on the .BAT file. The file should be as follows (for Win98):

@echo off
echo Registering AVI-AC3/MPEG2 Filters...
c:\windows\system\regsvr32 /s iviaudio.ax
c:\windows\system\regsvr32 /s ivivideo.ax
echo Finished Registering Filters...

thank for replaing...would u please till me step by step..
i found regsvr32.exe in the system file...and when doubleclicking
on it it says no dll name specified.

and i found iviaudio.ax and ivivideo.ax .

how i create a bat file?

Copy my listing exactly. Paste it into Notepad. Save it with the name of "Install.bat". Place this .bat file, together with the two .ax files, in your DigitalVCR folder. Doubleclick on the .BAT file.

i installed the .bat file.......and now digital vcr stop capturing frames ....thats mean i cant record.

the program is Asus Digital VCR.

the problem hadnt been solved.....

is there anyway to encode mpeg2 splitter?

or i just have to record it as AVI then encode it to
divx?
