Sound behind Video

I have several AVI files that play fine on my PC. When I attempt to recode them to put the on a DVD for a friend, the sound lags behind the video. It does not happen with each file.

I notice that the lag is more prevalent with lesser quality AVIs. Is there a correlation here?

Sounds as you are using Nero VisionExpress and not Nero Recode 2?
