I think the problem has relation with the macrovision feature. I have an hp omnibook, with the ATI mobility m6 card that supports an external monitor and has a tv-out s-video connector.
The software that comes with the laptop is InterVideo WinDVD .
The problem is that I can't see anything in my laptop screen or in an external monitor when playing a cd, only the audio.
The tv-out feature of my graphic doesn't exist explicitely, because if you don't connect a tv, it is simply disable.
What can I do to see any dvd movie?
