Impossible to encode divx !!!!

I use some encoding program (neodivx, easydivx, divxmachine, virtualdub, etc...) but all of my porograms can't encode file !

In the list of the "compression video", i have a list of all the codecs available but no divx or xvid !

In the list of the "video codecs" of the system menu of control panel, i have well Divx 3.11 and 5.0 pro. ...but impossible to encode.

Of course, i have desinstall, reinstall all of my programs and my codecs...

What can i do ?

I have an AMD 1.6 XP Athlon and Windows XP. I have a GC Geforce2 MX400 tvout.

Have you got either DirectX7 or DirectX8.1 installed? They seem to be an integral part of installation rituals. :)

win xp has already built in directx 8, but dont know if it works that well as with other os (but should, because i never heard anyone cry in this forum, that he cant encode to divx with xp)

what type of files u want to encode?
which configuration did u try?
