View Full Version : free photo editing sofware
does anyone know if there is a free software that let me do cool things like taking some one's head & pasted on another person's body?
also are there software that let you copy video games from cd's & other media?

you can cut & paste heads on bodies all you like with almost any program, but it may not look so good. the best free photo editing programs are 'infranview' (though i don't use it) and 'xnview' (my second favourite). the best is easily 'photoshop CS2', but that cost a hell of a lot, and takes a long time to learn ;)

not sure what you mean there... though if you're looking to copy cd and dvd games with protection on them, you'd best go for something like 'clonyxxl' to detect the type of protection (eg. safedisc), then 'alcohol 120%' to burn & emulate those protections. post if you need more info :)
Use the GIMP. http://www.gimp.org
Opensource image editing program. Much like photoshop elements or Jasc.

I used it for a while and it looks like Paint Shop Pro. However, it is awful at printing. I never get the images the size I want. They are always a cm or two to short.
I am trying GIMP out at the moment. I keep thinking of Pulp Fiction. :bglaugh2:
GIMP works great you can download it here its freeware and the next best thing to Photoshop GIMP Download
Here is a great site filled with tons of tutorials Gimptalk

i must say i'm never going to install gimp again
did it quite a while ago as i wanted to test it
the installation of files necessary to run gimp crashed my pc so badly, that i must say: never again
yes i would like to copy cd, dvd games ,also sony portable & regular play station games.
would dvdecrpyt & dvd shrink work on video games cds, dvds, sony portable & regular playstations memory sticks etc.
i already use those 2 programs to copy movies & remove the copy guard.
the other key thing is if i can get the programs for free, since i don't have a lot of cash to play with.
forgive me for asking stupid questions but i am new to this.

To copy a regular PS2 game (not dual layer), use DVD Decrypter in ISO mode - first read then write.
See http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?postid=267287#post267287
For regular DVDs you can use DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink.

also i notice in the forums that other people say i need a mod chip for the ps2 to play the copy game.

Now that 'photoshop CS2' is the one in Demand stores that still have photoshop 6.0 or 7.0 have slashed the prices. I am still on 7.0
