Just a heads up for the other procrastinators out there who want to get the low price for RB Pro.
When DVD-RB Pro is released as a final product (version 1.00), VIPs who have donated at least $10.00 ... will become members of the DVD Rebuilder charter team -- and will receive version updates for the life of the product.

FINAL NOTICE: Beta Testing will end on or about October 7th, EDT.

Those waiting until final release will be required to pay the $29.95 commercial price. DVD Rebuilder Professional Edition Version 1.00 info & paypal link @ http://info.dvd-rb.com/

Seems like a no-brainer to me. Don't hesitate, don't be late! I just sent my donation via PayPal, how about you?

I donated my $10 when DVD-RB Pro was RC2 I think? Now it's @ RC6. It's the best deal out. Hell it's a good deal @ $30 and for $10 it makes me feel like I've stolen something. Especially with life time updates.

Yeah, it puts everything else to shame. Especially with a good encoder to go with it.

I must agree blutach. hank315 supplies an exellent encoder with the HC16. Is HC16 still at test release 2?

I have used HC16 a bit recently. I think it's still Beta 2 yes. I use Procoder 2 though. It just does everything you ever wanted.

I just can't cough up the bucks for Procoder 2 right now. I may ask Santa Clause for it as a Christmas present.:-D

Yeah it's pricey - but bloody good. It really is a professional encoder.

I spose you could go to DL disks and not worry but that would take all the fun, adventure and education out of it.

I do use DL on the movies that I want to keep the extras (LOTR & Star Wars), but the rest I just use DVD-R and DVDD, Vobblanker, Shrink & DVD-RB. Now if I can get the hang of PgcEdit & MenuShrink I'll be flyin'.

Yeah Procoder cost too much for me to get

@Lownox - MenuShrink is almost a one clicker. You can select which I frame to keep with slider bars. And click process. End of story.

There's also a full guide written by some turkey with the app. :D

@ ElBoricua433

well it's always a matter of standards

we may spend different amounts of money on different things

in addition to that you're not dealing with 20yr old blokes

thus the two of us might be in a different position and be more able to spend money on decent software (and a good bottle of wine *g*)

That of course begs the question, "Well, if a DVD goes astray it would be cheaper just to buy it again?"

Of course that's right, but, at least speaking personally, I just enjoy doing this stuff. And because of that, I do want the best. That's why I use DVDRB/Procoder 2.

As for wine, UncasMS, knows full well my love of it :teeth:
