How to split drive c into two...

does anybody know how to split drive c into two...does it need a software like partition magic.please..this is urgent..I want to make a partition......

Partition magic will do partitions on a drive that has data on it without data loss. To make sure I would do a backup anyway to play safe.

i'll second to use partition magic, but i have to add one aspect to the above statement:

you can only split off that part/amount from the hdd that is EMPTY; splitting a 160gb drive to 2 x 80gb when 100gb is used will not work
