hmm, i bought a dvd player two days ago and now i have a question according to burning and encoding:
when i try to encode my avi files to mpeg with the nero5.5 the programm gives me following message in my burning protocol, shortly after i start the burning progress:
D:\video\ relic.avi: not enough memory
what does that mean?
the movie file is compressed 230 kb and uncompressed 480, so i have enough space on my empty cd.
can somebody please help me?

it would be better to encode with tmpgenc first and then use nero to burn..i think you can get it at vcdhelp.com

I think the program first stores up the encoded data on hard disk and then writes it on disk.

I got the same problem but it was solved when I press the file as MPG. I think nero cannot do avi, that's why.
