Synch Error (VirtualDub)

I'm tryng to encode an MPEG-1 movie to MPEG-4, encode part of the movie but in some frames always appears a msgbox "Synch Error" on Virtual Dub.
I'm encoding with Divx Low Motion and i tryied with DivX 4.11 Codec too, but still appears the same error on the same place.
What can i do?. Please help me.

VD is not really good in converting MPEG1. Maybe you can repair the MPEG-stream with a tool like vcdgear and than convert it with VD. Or you can use TMPEGEnc. It seems to be very good at reading and writing MPEG1.
