Your own web page is where they are uploaded. Which is hosted/served
by a company, often your broadband provider, a friend has several old computers on his home network, each one hosts a different web page.

i doubt you can mate. plus its really hard to find a website that will host music which is not copyright to you.
if you do find a good site, share it with us.

AFAIK rapidshare doesn't do streaming...

If he was really serious about it he would have a better/more expensive
web page or a static ip for his broadband and serve it up himself.
At work we have a 50 meg web page thru our server we have never used
and a static IP which we don't even really need.

www.agigforfree.com
I use that, and it works great! 1 gig storage and 10 gigs bandwith. Not sure if you can stream, but you can store just fine. It gives you a USER.3lo.net domain.
For example you can find mine at www.drfsupercenter.3lo.net
:-)
Hope that helps!

most people probably already use it, but if i ever need to upload files other than images i go for http://www.rapidshare.de - its the non-image imageshack equivalent ;)

if only gmail would allow its storage to be used this way, we're up to 2622mb right now, will reach 3GB in the next few months i'd imagine...
not that i really have a need for it ;)

AGigForFree is back up for those of you who need hosting. Much better than Rapidshare as you can hotlink files if you turn off hotlink protection. And free!

Have you tried GMail Drive? I use it for work files and it works well. Shows up as a regular drive in Windows Explorer.

That is what I use as well.
Basically, it emails attachments to the Google account.
I also use GSpace Firefox extension which is the same thing but it looks like a FTP program.
