View Full Version : Canīt play backup in the computer player

I have a samsung writemaster and it works great. No problems in the dvd player and in the burner, but in the computers dvd it doesnt work, before i had a "lite on" burner and the backups from that workt in the computer dvd.
whats wrong?:smashead:

Some dvd drives don't read all kinds of burned disks.

Both Dvd burner and the dvd in the computer is a samsung,.. and it still doesnt work

I used to have a pioneer dvd-rom and burner, when put in the same computer
it wouldn't even boot.
How many different types of media have you tried?

if you follow this link, you can search your writer and players model number to find which media works well based on user comments

Lt. Columbo: Don´t understand what that means. The writer´s name is "Samsung writemaster TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-W162C"

rbrtpl: zip? brand media? my english are pretty bad.
I burn at 4X and with DVD+R, the burner is a standard size, 2mb buffer size,
what more do you need to know?

What rbrtpl been trying to get from you is what is your DVD's brand and what speed. e.g. TDK DVD+R 8X or Verbatim DVD-R 4X.
It should be on displaying on your blank DVD's label side.

I had "e proformance" dvd´d.
And today get some "platinum" and they workt in all my players,
