Two different subtitles on a movie

With a DVD it is possile to display two different subtitles in the same time, eg with powerDVD : that is nice to learn another language. If you don't know a word, you just look to the other sub, instead of looking it up in a dictionary.

Is this possible with a DIVX player??? Some time ago I tried a few players, but could not find what I was looking for.

I dont beleive its possible to have two sets of subtitles going at the same time.

However to achieve your goal you could always have the soundtrack playing in say English and have french Subtitles on in power dvd.
