    DVD Shrink won't start

I am having trouble with Shrink starting up.
As soon as I start it it crashes my pc and reboots itself.
It is a new pc with xp, I have done all the updates and such.(Drivers etc..)
But within 5 secs after trying to start Shrink the pc reboots itself.
It even locks up the whole machine to where I can't even get in to see if something is conflicting with it. (ctrl-alt-del)
    Any help would be appericated.

    Hello

Where'd you get your copy of DVD Shrink? It may not be a good version.

Also, did you try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it?

it is 3.2 version and a couple of sites I tried, the one on this site, afterdawn's, and another site all did the same thing.

I even tried it from another computer that I have that Shrink works on
and it did the same thing.

              Hi mav36,

DVD Shrink uses ASPI driver or layer. The latest Adaptec ASPI layer for Windows XP, version 4.71.2, is not quite stable comparing to the older ASPI layer, version 4.60. Please go to the link below to have more information about the Force ASPI (Please read instruction thoroughly), hope that will fix your DVD Shrink problem:

PS: If you don't have Nero. please download Nero Infotool to test your drives and configuration:
