Hello People,
Does anyone know how I can get Drive region V2.2 to display 'THIS DRIVE HAS NO REGION PROTECTION'? I have two lives left. Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Zoot.

Thanks for the link.. couple of quick related questions:
1) Do you have to install the official firmware from the LG site before updating it to the corresponding RPC1?
2) My writer is the LG GSA-4167BAL, but I can't find the "AL" on any of the refs on LG's site (or any other site!) Can I still use the B firmware?
Thanks.

it's simple, standalone master on secondary,
never during electrical storm
I prefer safe mode
at least shut down extras running in background
no disk in drive
and last but not least!
old school
ur tin foil hat
Just got one of these units. set it to Master on secondary Channel , What if your dont have a secondary Channel ??? IE Intel D856PERL with only a single ATA channel & SATA. I assume the primary will work but just want to make sure

Yes, confirmed earlier with another poster somewhere long ago and far away.
