i switched from IE as soon as i heard of 'tabbed browsing', which was some time ago :)
i just noticed, switching from tab to tab is much faster with 1.5 :D

blu are you using firefox? i probably won't be using IE7 unless it has an amazing revolutionary new feature that i absolutely must have.
what i've always wondered is why neither browser has a decent download manager...

IE6 :( Tried FF - wasn't that I didn't like - guess I was just comfy with IE. Plus you can't get fully away from IE, you need it for Window$ updates or something.

there are times when i have to use IE too, only 2 websites, one being asus.com & the other cyberlink.com (i only have to visit it maybe once every few years though, if i see any decent changes in their decoder :P ). they may have been fixed now though.
i never touch windows updates unless they're service packs or unless its another one of those 'blaster worms'. ;) i don't take microsoft's use of the word 'critical!!' seriously anymore :P

I have been disconnected several times in the middle of a download
with this durn wireless setup at one of my stations during the middle of a download, recently I have noticed they resume as soon as I start them over.
From the point it was interupted. IE6 and all non critical patches.

i've been using the download manager 'getright' for many years now
Haven't needed it in a year, on the fast dsl(1.5Mb) 150KB/s, most downloads
never get a chance to be interupted(after I trashed the wireless antennas).
My 1 gig portable drive carries the large downloads home to the crappy
13Kbps dsl lite. Getright was the best of many I tried over the last
5-6 years.

i download very large files at my uni (very very fast), it easily more than quadruples the speed. i also have a 1GB usb that i use to bring stuff home ;)
i use getright at home (dialup  ) cause its easier to manage downloads
