I have some movies that are in SMR. I have downloaded the patch using flashget. I unzipped the file, but the movies still dont work.
What else do l need to do, I dont know if l have installed the SMR Codec Patch correctly. I think l have Divx.4 installed.
All my other movies work excpet for these new ones l have downloaded.
Thanx

same here,
i downloaded a .avi file that claims to need an SMR codec to play, so i came here and downloaded the smr codec that claims to fix this, but it didn't work:smashead:
this may be a problem with the file itself because there is no sound or picture, just black space ! , but i'm not sure if the patch is even working!
i believe i also have divx 4 installed
hopefully someone will remedy this so i can sit on my ass a watch this file :vbouncy:

the tsunami service pack is a file with all the main codecs in it. you install the program and follow the instructions. i did a search for it and found it using yahoo. if you cant find it let me have your email and i will email it to you as it is small enough to fit on a floppy.

You need to make sure that you have the entire file. The movies will NOT play if it is not the entire file. Check files sizes at www.shadowrealm.info

tsunami has now stopped making the service pack but if you do a search for klcodec your wishes should hopefully come true. hope this helps you all.

Be careful, your not allowed to post to threads that are old if you have useful information. Its frowned upon :smashead:
