Xilisoft Video Converter

i'm using this program to convert .mov files into .avi files, but when I do it takes about two seconds to encode and the file IS an .avi, but it's about 5KB and unuseable. could someone who's used the program tell me what could possibly be wrong, or recommend another program? thanks in advance!

p.s - I've also tried WinMPG Video Convert, which doesn't work for me either.

check out 3GP Converter 2006 (http://www.reganam.com/3gp-converter.htm), is uses the QuickTime Api and handles really well MOV files.

Xilisoft works well for me. Winavi is also great.
