I would just like to say hey, and thank you all for the invaluable info!
I haven`t posted up for a while because, well, since you taught me all I need to know I have been backing up my dvd`s with DVDD and shrink since I mastered both programs (with your help of course) with no failures and no problems............until now

My friend purchased a newer computer and showed an interest in backing up his dvd collection and I started to teach him when lo and behold DVDD is GONE :fan2:
After researching a little bit this ImgBurn looks like the way to go.

Thanks again :toast: to ya

and Cynthia, I still think I  U

WOW you`ve got some cool smilies
:minigun: #$%ROVISION
sorry...ADD I get SO easily distracted

You can still get DVD Decrypter here (http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/software.htm) , and it is still a valuable item to have in your arsenal because Imgburn is only a burner.

Awsome, thanks guys
from the quick glance of the walkthrough it appeared ImgBurn dropped the iso files to the harddrive
I`ll take a look

It wasn't for the problems which it does help. There was a link for Dvd Decrypter download at I believe installation.

Yes it is there under 2-Installation

Now let`s see if he sticks with it long enough to learn how to do it
The process seems a bit complicated for most people I try to teach (and I use the most basic functions) they eventually give up

At least he won`t have as many headaches (or wasted discs) as I did when I was a newbie

I totally freaked when I saw what happened to DVDD and I started backing up the program I have on my computer asap just in case because I thought it was gone forever

DVD Decrypter is the thrid on the list, I just looked at it...but if you got it elsewhere that is all that matters.
