i have alot of music videos on my drive, so far ive used winamp to play them, due to winamps nice playlist abilities and the fact that i can set the hot keys to shuffle through the videos. i downloaded the new divx player today, and was thinking about switching over to that to play my videos- but then i noticed you cant even set hot keys to skip through files, etc, and the player doesnt remember the window position you left it in- so is there another good player for my videos with hot key support, or should i just keep using winamp for the time being?
thanks for advice ;-)

Try mplayer. It has a Window's version I recall setting
up on a Windows XP computer quite some time ago.
It seemed to work well. It would play avi's or mpegs,
and so on. Here's some links that may help.
Windows version: http://armory.nicewarrior.org/projects/cygmp/
Linux version: http://www.mplayerhq.hu
I use wmpc and this

Those mplayer builds are old.
You can find my mplayer and MPC builds here:

Think MPC probably makes the most sense though. Page Up/Down to jump files. mplayer restarts between files so you lose full screen, etc.
