I just recently got a Cowon A2 PVP and was converting some movies to watch on business trips. When I went to convert The Empire Strikes Back, I used DVD Decrypter to rip and then Auto Gordian Knot to covert to AVI. But when I play back the ripped DVD, the opening title sequence with the long scrolling text keeps shifting between english, spanish, and even french versions of the text. its really odd. It goes into about the first 15 minutes of the movie and stops. I have even tried DVD shrink to remove everything but the movie and main audio stream itself and it still does it. On a hunch, I used DVD Audio extractor and noticed there are several different angles on the movie, which undoubetbly is where the other langauges are coming from...or at least I think so.

Any ideas on how to fix this? its really frickin bizarre

Thanks in advance fellas

That has to do with the languages.

Get DVD Shrink, do a Re-Author with just the main title and angle 1. Then use AutoGK on that folder. Same happened to me, that's the fix.

K..trying now....should I still have it create the audio and video subfolders? or have them both together in the same main folder? or doesn't matter?

Edit: NEvermind...that did the trick. U guys rock! thx drfsupercenter
