Ok here's my question for the day, what are some of the biggest advantages and/or disadvantages to using dl discs, I would use the double layer as opposed to dual layer, because I like to change my bitset on my burns. Something I learned from the forums which are great. Right now the biggest drawback is cost of them that I see. To be truthful I have never yet burned to a dl disc even though I have a few.
It's just my never ending quest for knowledge thnks!!!

The real advantage is that you can get a true 1:1 copy. No compression needed = same picture quality as the original DVD.

You still can change the bitset for single layer, as long as they are + samething with DL if - I dont think you can do that either
