Power Cinema/Power DVD 6

Help appreciated........all of a sudden my PC won't play DVD's in both Power Cinema or Power DVD.
Has anybody any ideas?

Where there any new programs installed recently. Was there any error messages that popped up recently.
If you open My Computer, is there a listing(icon) for the DVD drive?

Have you done a full virus scan and adware scan?
