When you rip a movie using smartripper into a new single VOB file the timecode is set to 0 (ie lenght of movie = 0:00:00)

This makes it impossible to add chapters when I try to author a DVD using the new VOB file.

Is there a way of ripping a movie from the disc into a single vob file and retaining the movie lenght?

Am I doing something wrong or is there another piece of software that will reset the lenght so I can add chapters in DVD Wise

Any help Appreciated

thanks

I could be wrong here but i'm sure the file limit for FAT32 windows operating systems is 4gig max.

Therefore even if u wanted to rip to a single vob file.....it would only allow 4gig max and since almost every dvd is over this you'd be goosed!
