Hello,
I can't find this in the FAQ section but apologise if I missed it. The problem I have is most of the DivX files on my PC play fine; however I have a couple where the volume is very quiet making dialogue an effort to follow.
Earlier on this year I found a program through Google that you simply ran the video file causing problems through and then the volume was automatically fixed to a normal level. It was as easy as that!
However, my PC has been reformatted since and I no longer have that program and can't find it again.
Can anyone help me, a; by telling me what the mystery program was called so I can find it again or b; another way of making the few quiet files I have play at a normal level?
Thank you,
Mark

Don't know about the program u r referring to; but, if ur DivX is in AVI, then volume can be increased simply using Virtualdub.

Thanks for the tip. It's not really the overall volume that's the problem. I should have said before but it's the dialogue that's quiet in comparison to the music and "effects" (i.e. a gunfight will be suitable noisy).
I only have two files which have had this problem but, as I said before, I DID chance upon a free program that I just ran the video files through and after that they were fine. It was a pretty quick process too, as I remember.
Anyone know of such a program? I can't for the life of me find it again!
