variety poblem

Hi Friends,

I am suresh new to this group.
Generally cd capacity 700mb(650mb to 675mb we can write) but these days every vcd showing(when i copy to computer) 750mb to 800mb how is this possible.hence i cant copy that cd to other cd.

is there any way for that?

CD's come in various sizes, been like that for a long time now.
You must be buying the 650-700mb disks. I know I have some 800mb disks sitting around right now.

100mb in data CD's is used for error correction. VCD's don't require it (mode 2) so you can use up the whole 800mb
