converting a DVD to a DivX on CD-R

hi everyone,
I'm kind of new at doing the DVD to DivX converting
and would like some advise and help as far as being able
to convert a DVD to DivX and being able to burn them onto a
CD-R.. If possible, would like to know how to fit a whole movie onto a CD-R
