I cannot rip sound from dvd which has dts sound with 6 channel. For example From Hell is like that. Graph edit rips the wav file but it is an empty wav file. What can I do to rip DTS sound from a DVD. Is there any codec or something to do this?

Use smart ripper to rip the dvd to hard drive . Then use vob2audio to rip the audio .

Hi,
I want to get a dts signal from a vob file (or from a vob with a lpcm dts signal that I can make on vobrator) to a dts-cd.
Also I would like to get it to 6 wav files.
I have GraphEdit and I've used that on ac-3 successfully, but what filters do I use for dts. I have dts source and avi<->ac3/dts and tons more.
Thanks, James:)

As of right now the only thing you'd be able to do is extract the .dts file from the vob. There isn't any program that will convert it for you. Not yet anyway.

The latest version DVD2AVI is able to extract the .dts file for you, then you'll be able to merge that into your avi. But, as I said, you aren't able to convert it to other formats. I wish BeSweet would hurry up and come out with an updated version to do this.

Thanks for the reply. Let me know if you hear about anything that can do it. I'll keep watching for besweet.
Thanks,
James
