Is nero dvd burning software compatiable with windows vista?

nero 6 no, nero 7 latest versions are supposed to work

I got Nero 6 to run 'as administrator' by turning on all the compatibility options.

Right click and chose properties

click the "run this program in compatibility mode for: box and chose Windows 2003 Server
Then:
disable visual themes
disable desktop composition
run this program as an administrator.

When you need to load one of the programs you still need to right click and select run as administrator to gain proper access.

The later revisions of 7 ultra and 7 re-loaded work fine on X32 and x64 vista.
