Auto GK VOB to AVI conversion !

I recently DL'd the latest version of AGK (v2.6)....

Created an AVI from a VOB (short movie clip, funny, Black Clint Eastwood impression from "The Wire") ... anyhow

Well the avi plays fine on WMP (v?) the box at home . When I try to play it at work WMP (v9) I get no video, just audio. Assume it's the Xvid codec missing on work box, NOT sure.

PS: Can't install any codec's at work, have no admin priviledges ..... any ideas ?

Where did u get v2.6 ? I could only find 2.4!

Q: As Paglamon said where in the world did you get AutoGK 2.6 ... official site only has 2.4 !?!?

Also, I am with you ... I wish AutoGK and AVI2DVD would make their programs self-contained and portable ... then problem solved ... you can even run it from a 2.5" HD.

@gonwk, this portability of AutoGK seems to have become a real craving for you :). Saw your persistent requests at the Doom9 AGK forum.But as they said,AGK will still need XviD installed in the system.
