Messed up window view setting - Sys Restore doesn't work

I've stuffed up some setting somewhere and now my window positions are not remembered nor are the views (they are all in detailed view, even after I have changed some of them to icons). My folder view setting cache is 8000, so that's not the problem.

Can anyone point me to the right registry setting please?

if restore didn't work then I wonder if the problem is somewhere else besides the registry

I know when I do my power user setup I don't need to reboot to keep the remember folder settings or use as default for all folders, the changes become active immediately

Something else. It messed up the HKCU\Software\MS\Windows\Shell (and ShellNoRoam) and HKCU\Software\MS\Windows\Policies\Explorer settings.

As I said before, I am an idiot.

Dunno why Sys Restore didn't work.
