View Full Version : PC TO TV using s video ?

I put in a ati radeon 9550agp128mb4xto8x card witch has s video out . Can i connect this to my tv. s video in. To send what i have on my pc to the tv.What steps do i have to take to do this.Is there a guide for this? Thanks any help you can give me on this.Ihave a dell pent,4 1.6 g512 mem,90 g HD. , anoob at this. . Xbill I hope this is the right forum for this ?

Yes you can :) But if it's a standard TV the text will look like crap and hard to read.Video will look good though.If you have an HDTV I would recommend using a VGA D-Sub cable it will look better.

What steps do i have to take to do this.
All I did was plugged it in and turned on my PC & TV

How much of a difference does that d-sub cable make compared to a s-vid cable?

I have a older tv ,it only has s video connection. I have i have vga on the video card only. video looks ok.
