windows xp and dixv311_alpha

I downloaded dixv311_alpha to play a movie that I downloaded off of morpheus that uses codec div3. I am using windows xp professional. I get a message saying that this software is not approved and during the install it says that the target file exists and is newer than the source, so I chose not to overwrite that file which is c:\windows\system32\13codeca.acm. I still cant get my first downloaded movie to play, could someone plese help me.

The Windows mediaplayer of Win XP doesn't support all avi files. Try another player like the Playa or BSplayer.
