Hi There,
Sorry to sound so ignorant with this but I've never used DIVX for encoding and thought I would get some thoughts. I have a client who needs a project file with the following output specs:
File Format - .avi
Video - DIVX = open DIVX V4
I'm a MAC user and typically use QT. I'll be exporting out of After Effects so I can export the .avi file but I assume I need to download the DIVX plug-in before I can do anything else. Only thing is they requested "V4" which I assume is version 4 and that's only compatible with PCs. If I download the most recent version for MAC - is there a "back compatibility" option like you find in other Adobe programs?
Any help would be great!
